Preparing for GCC 2011 – Site Visit

Some members of the MIT GCC Organizing Committee visited the 2011 conference site yesterday to walk through the conference. We’re really excited about the location! The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is on Cape Cod and just steps away from the beach. Fortunately, it won’t be so warm and inviting by the time the conference rolls around, so we’ll be able to focus on the talks! Check out photos of the location:

Only on Cape Cod.

We are still working on the acceptances and notices. In a few weeks we should have a full attendee list. This process is difficult because we got many great abstracts, but we are hard at work to craft a conference that will be educational and interesting for everyone. We will also publish a schedule soon. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please write us at
